Graeme Souness warns Aston Villa to think twice about signing Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford permanently this summer

The England forward has enjoyed another impressive start to life on loan at the Villans in the January transfer window and has been given regular playing time by Unai Emery. But Souness questions whether Rashford is good enough to sign permanently.

“The question I would ask เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง when Aston Villa are considering whether to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent basis is ‘can you trust him?'” Souness wrote in his column for the Daily Mail.

“Has he improved in the last few loan spells? Unai Emery knows better than anyone from watching him up close, playing Rashford in big games but has he done enough?”

“Aston Villa know it would be a big move for Manchester United. If they pay £40m, it would give United the money to spend in the summer. So why should Aston Villa help Manchester United?”

“They know how desperate United are so they have to push the price down a bit. Villa wouldn’t want to pay the same wage bill because others would come knocking for more than £300,000 a week.”

“Villa know United need to sell him and they have to weigh up the situation but you still wonder if anything has changed? This is a lad from Manchester who has left his boyhood club. The club offered him a big contract but he has let the club down badly.”

“What has changed in his life? Are the same people still responsible for him? And if he does sign, when will he go back to being the same naughty guy who struggled at Manchester United?”

“Can you trust him? That’s the big question. Aston Villa is a big club that has to play in the Champions League and for that you need players that you can rely on.”
